Grant | One Year
Posted on May 3, 2012
It is so crazy to think that little mister Grant is already over a year old. Grant’s mommy and I have been friends for about as long as we have been alive so a year ago I was super excited to photograph him as a newborn. Even through I have gotten to watch him grow up over the past year it still baffles my mind that he is already 1! Where does time go? Anyway, these images share with you just a touch of his perfect little personality. He is the most laid back and go with the flow baby I have eve met. We spent the first part of the session doing everything we could do to try and get a smile out of him then realized that that is just not Grant. He is a very serious and curious little guy. These images capture him just how he is. Enjoy!

Kellen | Newborn

I just love this part of my job. Holding and photographing a newborn just makes me happy. I met the Overmyer family a couple of years ago when their oldest, Kolten, was just a few days old. I have had the privileged of photographing them a couple of times over the past two years and was so excited when I heard that they would be adding to their family and would like to have a newborn session. I was super excited to meet the latest addition and spend a few moments catching up with big brother, Kolten. Here are a few of my favorites…

Stephanie & Jeremy | Expecting
Posted on April 11, 2012
I have had the honor of knowing Stephanie (aka Mrs. A) for a couple of years now. My oldest son, Samuel, met the smiling, open armed Mrs. A on his first day of Young 5′s. Throughout the year I got to know Mrs.A and witness the love she has for teaching. Her bright smile and gentle spirit make this world a better place. This past year I was thrilled when Stephanie told me that she was expecting and that she would like to have some maternity pictures taken. Photographing this time of life is often overlooked or simply not done because expectant mothers don’t see how beautiful they truly are. I was super excited to meet Jeremy and photograph the two of them together. Here are a few of my personal favorites. I can’t wait to meet their little one at the end of May!
