It is so crazy to think that little mister Grant is already over a year old. Grant’s mommy and I have been friends for about as long as we have been alive so a year ago I was super excited to photograph him as a newborn. Even through I have gotten to watch him grow up over the past year it still baffles my mind that he is already 1! Where does time go? Anyway, these images share with you just a touch of his perfect little personality. He is the most laid back and go with the flow baby I have eve met. We spent the first part of the session doing everything we could do to try and get a smile out of him then realized that that is just not Grant. He is a very serious and curious little guy. These images capture him just how he is. Enjoy!

I have had the honor of knowing Stephanie (aka Mrs. A) for a couple of years now. My oldest son, Samuel, met the smiling, open armed Mrs. A on his first day of Young 5′s. Throughout the year I got to know Mrs.A and witness the love she has for teaching. Her bright smile and gentle spirit make this world a better place. This past year I was thrilled when Stephanie told me that she was expecting and that she would like to have some maternity pictures taken. Photographing this time of life is often overlooked or simply not done because expectant mothers don’t see how beautiful they truly are. I was super excited to meet Jeremy and photograph the two of them together. Here are a few of my personal favorites. I can’t wait to meet their little one at the end of May!

It is always an honor to be invited back to photograph previous clients. I met the Millard family a few years ago when their son, Harley, was a senior. This past year, I caught back up with them to photograph their daughter, Sarah, for her senior year. At the very beginning of the year they called me again, this time to capture the family! I was so excited since we had such a great time with both Harley and Sarah’s senior images. We scheduled for a day in February and crossed our fingers that we would escape any blizzard like weather. To our surprise we got quite the opposite, SUN! It was a bit windy and chilly but we made the best of it and captured some great family photos. Here are a few of my favorites! Enjoy!

It is so hard to believe that I met this little guy 6 months ago during his newborn session. It amazes me how these little ones grow and change so much over what seems to be such a short amount of time. I had the pleasure of spending a little over an hour with the Longstreet family a couple of weeks ago. Despite the unseasonably warm weather, we still elected an indoor session for Renner’s 6 month pictures. When I got there he was asleep but quickly woke up and was ready to go. I don’t know if I have ever met a baby that was so happy as soon as they were pulled out of bed. Here are a few of my favorites!
